Farmers Market Themed Luncheon Ideas

Looking for the perfect theme for an upcoming luncheon? Be it a thank you lunch, annual meeting, or even a fundraiser – don’t overlook the theme and decor of your event! It is so easy to be underwhelmed at luncheons, due to their perceived limits of timing. In all reality, if it’s noon or 8 in the evening, a ballroom will often look the same, if it’s a standard no-window room. There are a lot of creative ways to bring a farmers market themed luncheon to life, indoors or outdoors. This week, I will be focusing on an outdoor take to hosting a farmer’s market themed luncheon.

Ideally, for hosting this event outdoors, you would have a nice lush green space, the grass would be coming up, and there would be plenty of natural foliage and growth in the area. So picture that as we move forward. Here’s what I had in mind for this week’s party theme and idea board:

Hold on tight! The holidays are going to be in full swing in less than 12 hours. To me, it’s always Thanksgiving day that kicks off the mode of full on Christmas mixed with holiday spirit and mayhem. To help keep your holiday season fun and exciting, and maybe mix up some of your traditional parties, I’ve put together 11 Christmas party stations that your guests will love. From food to activities, each of these fun stations will offer your guests something on both an interactive and a personal level. Happy National Watermelon Day! August 3rd marks National Watermelon Day each year, did you know that? It’s ok if you didn’t, neither did I. When I found out about it, I was instantly inspired to create the perfect summertime watermelon party idea board for you this week. Whether it’s for a kid’s birthday party, or a backyard BBQ with friends and family, you can’t go wrong with a watermelon theme. The cool, watercolor hues of a natural watermelon are easy on the eyes during the heat of the summer, while the refreshing fruit and juices of the watermelon itself are delicious to consume in a host of different ways.

End of Summer Dinner Party Soiree in Berry Hues

Yes, I realize that TECHNICALLY summer isn’t over for a few more weeks. But you know what? It’s hot. It’s realllllly hot here in Florida. Low to mid-90s, high humidity, all sunshine, minimal rain. It’s brutal. So to take my mind off the heat, I thought about what I would do to make the most of this weekend, leading me into this week’s party ideas board. I was thinking how great it would be to have a beautiful patio, with nice rich shades of dark purples and plums. This fairytale patio would be the perfect setting for my end of summer, dinner party soiree.  Delicious berries would be the highlight of the menu. From cool drinks to sweet treats, a hint of berry could be found throughout the evening. Simple centerpieces near a vibrant, living wall of succulents with candlelight shimmering from hanging lanterns, would just make for a wonderful evening among friends and family. While I’m waving my magic wand to dream this up, I throw in an extra swish and flick to get a personal chef who would prepare this meal. Oh and a helpful staff that would help tidy up after!

Do I have any golfers here? How about anyone who needs a father’s day party idea? You’re going to want to pin this week’s party idea board for future reference!

This week’s party idea board is more of a partee than a party! With father’s day around the corner, it’s time to start planning something special for the special guy in your life. What are the odds, that not only is today both Wine Wednesday AND National Chocolate Cake Day? As if we needed a reason to consume either! This year they both line up perfectly into one glorious day. Maybe it’s because it’s getting close to Valentine’s Day, or maybe I’m a fan of date nights that involve a good red wine and a luscious cake, but I feel like this week’s idea board should be an ever-so-lightly romantic evening for two. And you guessed it: chocolate cake and wine are on the menu. Here’s what I had in mind:

A Rustic Foodie’s Dessert Party – Fall Edition {with salted caramel and lace}

On most days, I would not consider my style anywhere along the descriptive terms: chic, country, or rustic.

But this week I make an exception for that. This week I am sharing with you my idea of a rustic, foodie’s dessert party. A party that is farm-to-table fresh, cooked and prepared with love, and boasts great company and delicious wine. I love the emphasis of salted caramel desserts lining a lace and burlap table, allowing guests to graze on delicious treats as they mingle with other attendees. The only thing that’s missing would be a handful of accent candle lights, in mason jars, of course, scattered around.

Keep in mind as you are enjoying this party idea board, that this set of inspirational images could easily translate to a birthday party theme, or even a wedding.
