This week, we welcome Greenery, the 2017 Pantone Color of the Year to our growing collection of event inspiration. I am over the moon with excitement about the chosen Color of the Year. While I tried my best to embrace last year’s duo colors of the year, I really found that those soft hues just do not radiate with me as much as I’d have liked them to. This year, the game has changed. Not only is green my favorite color, but it is such a  fresh and clean hue. The team at Pantone working on the Color of the Year nailed it this year.

This invigorating and modern color, Greenery, is a fitting color to introduce to your upcoming corporate events. It’s neutral, but lively. Modern and clean. Most importantly, it is easy to incorporate into your events. Of course, Greenery is easily incorporated via natural foliage and ferns. But there are so many other ways to use this great color! From green flowers, to seating, to accent colors, lighting, and perimeter decor, it’s easier than you would think to bring this pop of life in to any event scenario. Pink Rose Quartz Spring Wedding

Oh la la! This week I present to you a spring wedding in milky shades of pink Rose Quartz (Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2016). I almost put together a wedding in this color family a few weeks ago when I was preparing the Soft Pink Rose Quartz Baby Birthday Party Ideas post, but couldn’t find all of the elements I was looking for.

But I kept searching, and found some perfect pictures to really capture what I am looking for in this wedding inspiration board. I wanted to put an idea board together that was soft and feminine, just like Rose Quartz, but also had the slightest touches of natural wood elements, balanced out by light amounts of dangling crystal elements.

Elaborate Serenity Blue Hydrangea Wedding Ideas

Serenity or Rose Quartz? If you had to pick one, which would it be?

If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, let me fill you in. The 2016 Pantone Color of the Year is actually two colors: Serenity and Rose Quartz. Check them out here if you haven’t seen them already.

I can’t say I normally would have opted to use either of those colors in anything I normally do, but you know I like a good challenge. This week I set forth with the challenge to do an elaborate wedding in the tricky color: Serenity. From what I see, Serenity is a periwinkle blue-purple that is cool and very soft. Loving the softness of the color, I decided to put together an over-the-top wedding inspiration board for you this week, full of soft colors and delicate hydrangeas.
