Rainbows and Butterflies….with a Side of Chocolate – Soiree Party Ideas

How perfect would you consider your birthday if you had pretty butterfly decorations, colorful fruit to nibble on, and decadent chocolate brownies to savor? I know I’d be thrilled.

You really can’t go wrong with these three elements being the center of attention at your next bash. Be it a bridal, birthday, baby, or just a get together with the girls, rainbows and butterflies…..with a side of chocolate, how can you go wrong? Here’s what I had in mind for this upbeat, sweets filled soiree:

Birthday Bear Picnic Ideas for National Teddy Bear Day

I just love it when I discover unusual holidays I never knew existed. In fact, today’s party idea board was inspired by “Teddy Bear Day”, which is apparently celebrated today, September 9. I took it one step further and turned this into a picnic party. Originally I wanted to go for a sleep over theme, but after reading about how there is actually a Teddy Bear Picnic Day (in July) I just had to create something marvelous around that.

Just about all of these elements could easily be translated indoors or outdoors. A few white sheets and some kid friendly snacks can make for quite the play party out in a local park, or even in your back yard. This is a classic, year round party theme you can’t go wrong with.

Here’s what I had in mind, and be warned….cuteness incoming!

Puppy Party Ideas for Mutt’s Day 2015

Hello and happy Wednesday! The inspiration board for this week is inspired by Mutt’s Day. Apparently, July 31 is the official day to celebrate your mutt! When I read about this unusual but fun holiday, I knew there was going to be an idea board put together inspired by the holiday.

This week’s idea board could really go a few ways: as a party for welcoming a new mutt to your home, an adoption party (for stuffed animals of course!), or a puppy party – with the kids getting to wear cute puppy ear headbands, play puppy games, etc.

Here’s what I had in mind:

Pumpkin Patch Birthday Party

Happy Wednesday!

Today I’ve got a fun party idea board to share with you. I originally envisioned a fall birthday party for kids, but I think a lot of these elements would be great at a school carnival or neighborhood block party. Between the cute pumpkin cupcakes to the pumpkin bowl games, kids could have a lot of fun just running around and enjoying the beautiful weather outside! If you wanted to take this event to the next level, I’ve shared this post with tons of ideas for hosting a pumpkin decorating party. Here’s what I was thinking:

Comic Book Party Ideas

So it turns out tomorrow, September 25th, is National Comic Book Day! Who knew? I didn’t know they had this holiday, but apparently it’s been around for a while. Did you know it was an official day?

I thought I would put together an inspiration board to help get your creative juices flowing if you were throwing a little get together to celebrate. This could also be a helpful resource if you were having a super hero party, a hero party, a villains party….or really a lot of kid party ideas. Here’s what I’m thinking:

You’re Invited: Easter Peeps Birthday Party for Kids

Do you know any kids with birthdays near Easter?

I always wondered if the kids who had birthdays on or around Easter got the short end of the presents-stick, like the kids with Christmas birthdays. But then I got to thinking, the kids with birthdays on or around Easter and Halloween probably have it MADE.

Think about it. During that time, there is literally TONS of yummy candy lining every available store shelf. Those kids can have one heck of an awesome candy party!

That got me thinking about if MY birthday was near Easter, and I was a kid, what kind of party would I want to have? And I immediately thought “PEEPS PARTY”. Naturally I just had to make a party inspiration board for something that cute. Here’s what I came up with:

Little Monster Bash Ideas

Boo!

Happy October! I’m so excited it’s October aren’t you? Not so much because I’m a Halloween fan or anything, but more because my holiday decorating whims are a little more justified. The stores near me have already had their fully set up and decorated CHRISTMAS TREES on display for several weeks now….WHY?! I have no idea why, but whatever, they are up.

Today’s inspiration board is for those of you with little monsters of your own. I thought hosting a “monster bash” for the little ones would be soo adorable! I could just imagine a room full of cute little monsters running around….Anyways, staying focused!

I think this would be a wonderful theme for a birthday celebration, or just a traditional Halloween party. But honestly, as a grown adult I would totally go to a cute-sy monster bash! Wouldn’t you?

To get you in the mood, make sure to have this video playing in the background:
