Confetti Balloon Summertime Party

Glitter may be the herpes of the craft world, but confetti is its equal in the realm of parties.

There’s something about these massive clear balloons with colorful confetti that is so light and airy, but still creates a festive, high energy feeling. Plus, the cleanup is much easier than just putting confetti everywhere! The oversized circle confetti plays off the oversized balloons, making proportions a feature of the decor. The same confetti circles used as a photo booth backdrop make a white wall really pop, and is easy to make. Smaller, confetti filled balloons gathered together as a centerpiece make an excellent complement to the look as well.

If you are worried about your next get-together looking a little drab and low energy, mix it up and throw a confetti balloon summertime party! Use this contained confetti to bring in a whimsy playfulness to your party, without having to deal with the mess of it all. A clever invitation and a few smart and strategic decor pieces can transform the vibe of any party instantly. Spring Peach Blossoms and Ribbon Bridal Shower Party Ideas

Did you know that March 3 is Peach Blossom Day? Or that February 28 is Floral Design Day?

That’s ok, I didn’t either. But after finding out that the two holidays were so close to each other, I thought, why not combine the two? They do go hand in hand.

And with that idea in mind, I put together this springtime peach blossom bridal shower party idea board with accents of flowy ribbon and fabric strands to balance out the organic nature of the flowers and food. This is a very soft and feminine soiree, just like the peach blossoms celebrated- and absolutely perfect for a springtime bridal shower.

Breathe in……breath out!

I always find a nice big breath of fresh air to be so relaxing. And there is something so refreshing and relaxing about mint and gold. That combination is always so fresh to me. This week I used that color combo as the inspiration for this lingerie bridal shower. I love the accents of chevrons and cleverly used polka dots. Here’s what I had in mind:

Green + Cream – Summer Bridal Shower

Picture this:

It’s a warm, sunny Saturday. Late in the morning, and the sun is still out and shinning bright. You’re headed to a bridal shower for one of your girlfriends. She’s feminine but not into the super girly red and pink flowers galore. She’s sophisticated and fresh at the same time. She loves mixing old with new.

You arrive, and the décor her maid of honor has put together is perfect for her. Light gold accents, with fresh crisp green, and touches of soft cream set the tone. Cute tea sandwiches are all laid out, with yummy peach pastries and chilled champagne nearby. Little arrangements of cream roses are spread throughout the room. The sun is shining in through big open windows.

Lingerie Bridal Shower Ideas {in PINK and BLACK}

Oh-la-la indeed!

Picture all of your girlfriends, champagne, lingerie, pink decor, and fun games. What doesn’t sound good about that? A lingerie bridal shower has all of that, and more!

This type of bridal shower is best for the bride with lots of girlfriends (the more the merrier) because there are so many fun games to be played at this type of shower. I love the ones were each guest brings a pair of panties or lingerie (specifically in the brides size of course!) and they all get hung up on a clothes line. The bride has to try and figure out who picked out which pair. I’ve pinned a few lingerie party games on Pinterest if you are interested in reading more ideas.

While I choose to make this idea board in pink and black, any fun girlie combination will do! Just make sure you get lots of fun décor in coordinating colors to really set the mood.

Key elements to this event would be:

  • Color scheme – I went with black and pink, but pink and white, or black and white, or use the brides favorite color.
  • Cute, light snacks and nibbles – we ladies are always trying to watch our figure! Besides, we are there to support the bride, not have a full meal.
  • Décor – go all out girlie! There is likely not going to be any guys there sulking in the corner from pink overload, so bring on the floral, pinks and fluff!
