A Gilded Botanical Wedding

We’re doing it up like Midas today! Roses dipped in gold, garlands of gold bay leaves, centerpieces featuring gold garlands over crystal….the list of gold elements in this week’s wedding idea board is quite long. But don’t worry! I’ve included all the links below to the sites where each of these images were found.

The inspiration for this week’s wedding idea board actually came about when I was looking at my “Unusual and Unique Wedding Bouquet” board on Pinterest working on last week’s inspiration board. (If you missed that inspiration board, it’s a fun and modern tropical beach wedding. Go see it here.) I had been browsing through that board and saw it. A bouquet of golden roses. Over the top but completely fabulous. I knew I had to do something with it.

After thinking about it a little more, and looking back at some of the other posts I did with gold, I wanted to try something different. Botanical elements kept catching my eye, so I opted to feature lots of different types of gold leafs and foliage elements.

Here’s what I had in mind:

Jungle Animal Print Celebration – Themed Party Ideas

I’m not sure what the most appropriate greeting for this jungle themed animal print party would be: rawr or meow. Either one could work, but I’m going to go with rawr!

Rawr! Welcome to my jungle animal print inspired party idea board.  This animal print party inspiration board is all about incorporating animal print in a more classy and modern way. I like to think there is no gimmicky jungle props involved here. And there’s no plastic animal props here either!

When I was putting this party idea board together, I was envisioning a soiree for one of three events: a ladies luncheon, a birthday party for the modern woman, or a super sophisticated baby shower. The tropical hints found in the green foliage help balance out the mixed animal prints…..and help make this a perfect theme for a summer soiree!

Oh, and if you need even MORE inspiration, I’ve got you covered! Stop by this board on Pinterest to get more ideas for all my favorite jungle, safari, and zoo party ideas. And if you are looking for more animal print party ideas, I’ve pinned all of my favorites here on this board. I know, so many boards. Is my OCD’ness showing?

On to the leopard and animal print party I’ve been promising you. Here’s what I had in mind:

Romantic Botanical Fall Wedding Ideas

A little over a year ago I shared with you an “Outdoor Fall Wedding Ideas” inspiration board post. I loved that inspiration board, as I love each board that I make, but I especially loved the polished perfection that inspiration board included. Very neat lines and shapes with perfectly coordinated colors made for beautiful inspiration.

This week I wanted to do something the along the same fall-lines, but different, with a more natural-beauty-but-still-refined, styled wedding. Still perfect for a fall wedding, this week’s wedding inspiration board has a whole other type of relaxed and cozy feel to it that I am enjoying immensely at the moment.
