Candy Gumdrops Party Ideas for Adults

Did you know that February 15 marks National Gumdrop Day? According to Holiday Insights, it is!

I love a good candy themed party as much as the next person, but I always wish there were more ideas out there for adults, either at the kid-friendly candy party, or FOR an adult focused, gumdrop themed party. So to help get some ideas out there for gumdrop candy party ideas for adults, I’ve put together a few of my favorite party ideas I’ve found so far.

The candy party decor ideas I’ve shared in this week’s gumdrop themed focus, include all of the major elements I would want at my candy party for adults. Thoughtful theme accents, personalized elements, delicious themed cocktails, a focal centerpiece, and a breathtaking and colorful table decor. Of course, photo booths, big props, entrance decor, clever invitations, and a million other amazing options are out there, and I’ve been pinning 200+ of my favorites. You never know when you may need them. Check out my candy and ice cream themed party ideas board on Pinterest for more fun ideas.

Sweets for Your Sweetie – Valentine’s Day Dessert Soiree Ideas

What is it about Valentine’s Day that makes everything have to be sugar coated? Fruit? Muffins? Exchanged words? EVERYTHING just has a sweetness to it, which –don’t get me wrong- it’s welcomed, but it can sometimes borderline on TOO much. And I’m sure for some people, at some point, it is too much. But sometimes, everything is just perfect and that extra sweetness just works perfectly and is welcomed with open arms.

Enough about sweets……yeah who am I kidding. That should have read: SO BRING ON THE SWEETS!

Sweets are the hero of this week party idea board for Valentine’s Day. This soiree can be scaled up or down in size for all sorts of events, though my favorite would be a stay at home bake-a-thon with your sweetie, whipping up one scrumptious dessert after the other, and enjoying the creations that you made together. But hearts are universal, and are easily included in themed baby showers, bridal parties, girl’s night, or even a festive family and friends gathering.
