Ice Queen Inspired Winter Wedding

Do you find yourself getting all warm and fuzzy on the inside when you think of the coldest days of winter? Are you at your happiest spot on the icy, cold days when there is barely any sun to note? Or maybe you are just a fan of Frozen, and have your heart set on an icy, winter themed wedding.

If any of those ring true to you, or even if you are a bespoke bride who loves pushing the boundaries, you are going to love this week’s wedding idea board.

Channeling my inner Ice Queen love, I scoured the internet for some of the top ideas for an icy winter wedding. This wasn’t just any celebration, oh no. I’ve shared my take on a frozen icicle holiday party before. This wedding inspiration board had to be fit for the ice queen herself. A complete vision of venue, ice sculptures, frosted icicle accents, and of course: a massive ice bar.

After days of searching for the perfect images of what I was envisioning, I have created this Ice Queen inspired winter wedding ideas board for your viewing pleasure:

Frozen Icicle Holiday Party Ideas

It’s SNOWING!

Hah, I wish! Here in Florida we can only dream of snow. There is no snow in sight for us, but there is PLENTY of sun to go around. I’ve never even seen snow, but that’s part of the deal of being born and raised in Florida. I hope to see it someday. I have heard it can be absolutely magical when it is lightly drifting down from the sky.

Until I get to see snow, I will continue to dream about snowy, winter wonderland party scenes. This week, I’m imagining a snowy icicle inspired holiday party. Here’s what I’m dreaming of:

Black, White, Green and ICE! – Wedding Anniversary Ideas

Yup- you read correctly: black, white, green and ice!

Picture this: it’s a decade or two from now. You’ve been with your other half for ages. You are surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. You want to throw a fabulous wedding anniversary. But it’s winter, and everything is red, green and gold. You want something modern, but elegant. You want something chic, dramatic…. You want WOW!

Go with a black, white and green (and ice!) color theme! It is modern, can be done easily, and is incredibly chic. This anniversary is going to be like no others. You’re having a specialty tent erected, custom ice sculptures crafted, luxurious linens delivered, and the best caterer in town.

Here’s what I’m envisioning for you, beyond that white carpet entrance:

I LOVE the ice element, don’t you? It just has so much impact! What I really love about this theme is its versatility. While I originally planned this inspiration board for a wedding anniversary, it would work just as well for a wedding, a holiday party, or a gala fundraiser. The sky is the limit with this design!

Fill in the blank: Black, White and ………? (What color would you choose?)
