Vintage Travel Inspired Wedding Idea Board

Now boarding! Fabulous wedding inspiration board ahead!

It doesn’t matter where you are when you are getting married. It doesn’t matter what season it is. It doesn’t even matter what time of day it is, or even what day of the week it turns out to be.

The most important thing is that you are marrying your other half. Your best friend. Your partner for life. Remember that you have each gone on a journey that has led you to that very day, and very specific pieces of the cosmic puzzle have had to work out for the miracle that is love to occur.

On your wedding day- a new adventure awaits you both. An adventure you will take on together. So for the couples that have traveled great distances to come together, or just for the couple that plan on seeing the many wonders of the world together, I present to you this vintage travel wedding idea board:

Things needed for a fun movie night:

  1. A great movie
  2. Comfy seating
  3. Delicious snacks
  4. Twinkling stars

Yup. That about covers everything you’ll need for this backyard movie party under the stars! It’s hard to believe that the summer is already winding down, the kids are going back to school, and in parts of the country- the leaves are already starting to change ever so slightly.

This week’s party idea board is one of the simplest, but probably one of the most fun boards I’ve put together. Host this party for your friends and family, or have the kids have a sleepover and enjoy a good Transformers marathon. Any way you host this party, everyone is bound to have a great time. Be sure to have plenty of cozy blankets and pillows nearby, and it will be a hit!

Puppy Party Ideas for Mutt’s Day 2015

Hello and happy Wednesday! The inspiration board for this week is inspired by Mutt’s Day. Apparently, July 31 is the official day to celebrate your mutt! When I read about this unusual but fun holiday, I knew there was going to be an idea board put together inspired by the holiday.

This week’s idea board could really go a few ways: as a party for welcoming a new mutt to your home, an adoption party (for stuffed animals of course!), or a puppy party – with the kids getting to wear cute puppy ear headbands, play puppy games, etc.

This week I knew exactly what I wanted to create when I sat down to make this week’s party idea board. I wanted something that would be fun for kids, boys and girls, and would be a hit this summer. I came up with the idea of having a mer-people (that’s mermaids and mermen) inspired party. Naturally, it would be fantastic if this was based around a beach location, but I think a pool party would be just as fun.

Ultimate Gamer Party Ideas

Are you a gamer? Do you know a gamer? I bet you answered yes to at least one, if not both, of those questions. I myself belong to multiple fandoms and gaming communities on various platforms. I’ve been a gamer of some sort since I was little……and I see no end in sight! There’s really a game out there for everyone, and always something new coming out soon to revolutionize the industry that you just have to play.

This week’s inspiration came from this “Computer Geek” printable party kit available on UncommonGoods.

It was when I was first approached by UncommonGoods to do the product review and giveaway that I first discovered these party kits. Be sure to check out their other kits HERE. It’s later in the day – the sun is still shining. The guests are starting to arrive, and the music is the background to great conversation. The drinks are cold and the aromas of sensational food are sifting through the air. The mood is light and upbeat, with the sun shining in through the windows.
