Extravagant Summer Wedding in Green Florals

This luxurious summer wedding I’ve dreamed up is one that I consider to be the top of the modern wedding vibe, but still keeps elegance and wow factors at the peak of your mind throughout the event.

This wedding not only has a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, with linens dramatically draped over the alter, but it also has 3 other stops it takes the guests to. After the ceremony – the guests head indoors for a cocktail hour, welcomed as they walk through the doors by strands of hanging orchids. After cocktail hour, they move out to a garden in a complete oasis of green. Green florals and silks are cascading and covering every inch of your visual field. No area is left bare. After a scrumptious meal, the music of a local band in the background, and good conversation of tablemates, it’s time for guests to move into the tent for the party to continue into the night! This tent has been transformed into the ultimate custom party lounge, complete with bars, desserts, lounge areas, and of course the hottest music played over a dance floor complete with club lighting.

This is what I had in mind:

Modern Gold + White Celebration

Clean, modern lines with crisp colors. Those are some of the inspiration words I wanted to incorporate into the feel of this week’s idea board. Initially I put this post together as wedding, but truthfully, it could be used as a gala, a wedding, a party, an anniversary celebration …… the list goes on! Here’s what I had in mind:

Pink + Lime Green – Paisley Summer Party Ideas

Textures. Patterns. Layers. Those are some of my absolute favorite design elements to work with when coming up with themes for events. I love playing with the sizes and colors of these elements to create dynamic design concepts that pop. This week I’m channeling a little Lily Pultizer, a little southern charm, and a little inner girly girl.

This is what I’m going for:

Ultimate Gamer Party Ideas

Are you a gamer? Do you know a gamer? I bet you answered yes to at least one, if not both, of those questions. I myself belong to multiple fandoms and gaming communities on various platforms. I’ve been a gamer of some sort since I was little……and I see no end in sight! There’s really a game out there for everyone, and always something new coming out soon to revolutionize the industry that you just have to play.

This week’s inspiration came from this “Computer Geek” printable party kit available on UncommonGoods.

It was when I was first approached by UncommonGoods to do the product review and giveaway that I first discovered these party kits. Be sure to check out their other kits HERE. They are not your average run-of-the-mill pretty printable kit, oh no, they are nothing you’ve seen before in a party printable. I love the designers unique twist on the themes and can’t wait to see more.  Oh – if you don’t know about the giveaway going on, CLICK HERE TO CATCH UP AND ENTER!

UncommonGoods Review + Giveaway Announcement

UncommonGoods Giveaway hosted on Unique Pastiche Events

UncommonGoods Giveaway hosted on Unique Pastiche Events

One of the greatest things about being a blogger is learning about different blogs and shops out there that share similar esthetics and values as me. Week after week, I continually learn about awesome Etsy shops, unusual suppliers and even occasionally completely unexpected awesomeness. (Don’t worry, I’ve pinned it all!) Recently, UncommonGoods approached me and asked me to review products from their site. They also offered my wonderful readers such as you, the opportunity to win a $25.00 e-gift card to spend as you’d like on their site!

The team over at UncommonGoods sent me several items to review. Here are the details on what they sent over:

When I was looking through the seemingly limitless options of things I would love to review, I ended up with these three. I choose these items based on some criteria I had set for myself: I wanted to look for a popular item that was well reviewed, something brand new, and something in the lineup that looked cool and was just not reviewed yet. And on top of all that, I wanted to review things that I may want to give as a birthday gift to someone, someday. Or you may want to give. Or you may want to put on your wish list. The team over at UncommonGoods has put together quite the collection of birthday gift ideas for everyone on your friends list.

During this review process I got to learn a lot more about UncommonGoods, certainly more than I usually do when browsing online retailers- but I’m so glad I did! UncommonGoods is a privately-owned company that is all about bringing us unique designs and gifts that are not harmful to animals or people. I am really impressed by the lengths and efforts they go through to treat their employees well, support artisans here in the USA, be eco-conscious and support various non-profits: all while delivering spectacular wares. They even go so far as to host “How to Make It” events for designers and local artisans to develop their business through panel discussions. Be sure to check it out if you are a designer looking to improve your creative endeavors.

As of right now- I have nothing but positive things to say about the items they’ve sent me! I’ve got three beautiful herbs growing, a water bottle full of yummy fresh fruit soaking, and an awesome indigo dye project I’m hoping to start soon. Don’t worry; I’ll be keeping you posted as I get to use my new goodies more. In the meantime – be sure to stop by UncommonGoods and see what’s new!

Be sure to enter the giveaway too! Visit the Unique Pastiche Events Facebook page for all the details or click on the image below.

In the meantime, I’m going to keep reading the Studio Tours posts that UncommonGoods exclusively shares, that shows the work spaces of the artists and designers that make your favorite pieces from the site. You should be sure to enter the giveaway and tell your friends! Stay tuned for the detailed reviews coming soon.

*UncommonGoods provided the above items for me to review for my honest opinion. All ideas and opinions expressed are 100% my own.*

Luxurious Gem Themed Party + Celebration Ideas

Can I just start by saying how much I adore this week’s party idea board? It’s bright, bold and oh so perfect. I love the gems, the sparkle and the lux feeling it invokes. To me- this could be a wedding theme, a birthday party, a theme for an upcoming celebration – I’d even go so far as to say it would be a perfect concept for a fundraiser or gala.

Vibrant Summer Birthday Party Idea for Her

It’s later in the day – the sun is still shining. The guests are starting to arrive, and the music is the background to great conversation. The drinks are cold and the aromas of sensational food are sifting through the air. The mood is light and upbeat, with the sun shining in through the windows. A bottle of champagne is popped and the toasts for the guest of honor start.

That’s the sort of mood I’m envisioning for this week’s inspiration board. I really want something bright. Something up beat. Something high energy with a relaxed undertone. Here’s what I had in mind:

Bohemian Patio Party Ideas

I could go for a party this weekend, how about you?

I’m in the mood for a patio party. I don’t actually have a patio for entertaining; much less the patio featured in this week’s inspiration board, but it doesn’t make me not want to throw this party any less. It’s getting warm out here in the evenings, so I’m thinking ice cold cocktails, star lights, great food and summery colors would make for a fun get together. Here’s what I had in mind:
