Bold Bohemian Wedding in Jewel Tones

Bold, bohemian beautiful. These three b’s perfectly describe the vibe I was feeling for this week’s wedding decor inspiration and ideas board. A breathtaking ceremony framed by intricate, yet modernized stained glass installation, followed by a reception filled with rich jewel tones and layers of details. Bold, bohemian inspired floral centerpieces with an array of colors make the tables pop. Clusters of mixed wildflowers in colorful vintage glass bottles, paired with assorted jewel tone napkins make for the perfect tablescape. What would make this a spectacularly unique wedding would be the bar. A simple rustic bar with small bottles with wildflowers would be perfect, but it’s what is behind the bar that is special.

Imagine having a wall full of racks, filled to the edge with vintage glassware in all sorts of different shapes, sizes, and colors. As guests refilled their drinks, they were presented a new glass, different from everyone else. Sure, it’s not cheap to rent that many vintage glasses, but the experience and uniqueness is worth it. Bold, bohemian weddings in jewel tones have been done before, but it’s about how you can bring your unique flair into the event that makes it special. Depending on your guest count and timeline, it is possible to amass these vintage glasses at local tag sales and thrift stores for a very reasonable price. If you take the DIY route, consider encouraging guests to take their favorite glass home that evening, as a memento of the special occasion.

Bohemian Patio Party Ideas

I could go for a party this weekend, how about you?

I’m in the mood for a patio party. I don’t actually have a patio for entertaining; much less the patio featured in this week’s inspiration board, but it doesn’t make me not want to throw this party any less. It’s getting warm out here in the evenings, so I’m thinking ice cold cocktails, star lights, great food and summery colors would make for a fun get together. Here’s what I had in mind:
