Extravagant Summer Wedding in Green Florals

This luxurious summer wedding I’ve dreamed up is one that I consider to be the top of the modern wedding vibe, but still keeps elegance and wow factors at the peak of your mind throughout the event.

This wedding not only has a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, with linens dramatically draped over the alter, but it also has 3 other stops it takes the guests to. After the ceremony – the guests head indoors for a cocktail hour, welcomed as they walk through the doors by strands of hanging orchids. After cocktail hour, they move out to a garden in a complete oasis of green. Green florals and silks are cascading and covering every inch of your visual field. No area is left bare. After a scrumptious meal, the music of a local band in the background, and good conversation of tablemates, it’s time for guests to move into the tent for the party to continue into the night! This tent has been transformed into the ultimate custom party lounge, complete with bars, desserts, lounge areas, and of course the hottest music played over a dance floor complete with club lighting.

This is what I had in mind:

Blue + Gold Agate Wedding Ideas

Refined, but natural. Elegant, but effortless. Those were some of the words I kept in the front of my mind when putting together this week’s idea board. It had to be a wedding, no doubt about that, but it had to be something easy spirited, relaxed even. Having said that, here’s what I ended up with:

Shabby Chic + Light Pink Rose – Spring Wedding Inspiration

Hello lovely ladies!

Today may be just another boring tax day, with lots of black and white, dull and repetitive tasks…… but today is also beautiful day! Or at least beautiful inspiration board day. And that’s the story I’m sticking with.

This week I’m channeling a shabby chic goddess at her spring wedding. Think lots of roses, lots of pink, lots of soft colors and super soft textures. I know you’ve likely been staring at your tax paperwork all night, so let’s just get to the pretty pictures.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Wood Grain Spring Wedding Ideas

Hello and HAPPY Wednesday! This week’s inspiration board was inspired by the grain in wood. I envision a magical forest wedding, mid-morning with the sun shining. Fabric bunting in beige and light blue decorates the area. The guests and bridal party dance the evening away in a clear tent with scattered tea candles everywhere.

This is what I had in mind:

Black, Gold + Sequin Celebration Inspiration

You know, all that’s missing from this week’s inspiration board is a nice bottle of champagne. Or maybe a champagne tower, you know, with the glasses overflowing with champagne being poured down, layer by layer. Yup, that’s really all this needs.

My natural instinct is the make this into a wedding theme, but to be honest, it could work for a fabulous awards dinner, gala fundraiser, and even on a smaller scale birthday party.

A Wedding in Red Velvet

Happy New Year!

I hope 2015 is off to a brilliant start for you! To start this year off with quite the bang, I’ve put together a dashing wedding – in red! Red velvet to be precise. This theme would be spectacular for wintery wedding, without going into the Santa’s velvet coat avenue. No, this is a muuuccch darker red, with a more sultry vibe about it. Fabulous for a wedding, but I think any gala or fundraiser could do well with this theme too.

Here’s what I had in mind:

But it’s winter, and everything is red, green and gold. You want something modern, but elegant. You want something chic, dramatic…. You want WOW!

I LOVE the ice element, don’t you? It just has so much impact! What I really love about this theme is its versatility. While I originally planned this inspiration board for a wedding anniversary, it would work just as well for a wedding, a holiday party, or a gala fundraiser. The sky is the limit with this design!

Fill in the blank: Black, White and ………? (What color would you choose?)

Beads and Lace – A Glamorous Vintage Wedding Inspiration Board

I don’t know what it is, but I am totally in such a vintage mode lately! This week I just kept feeling like I need to do an inspiration board that was for the classy couple that loves that refined, vintage vibe. For this week’s inspiration board, I’m focusing on ornate beading, with light floral and lace accents, and a neutral but sophisticated color palette. Here’s what I had in mind:

Art Deco {Scalloped} Inspired Wedding

Happy Wednesday and welcome back!

Today’s inspiration board is so much fun. It’s a wedding idea board for the couple that wants timeless classic, with a hint of the fabulous Gatsby flair. Inspired by the Art Deco era, I’ve put together this wedding idea board focusing on bright gold and white, with scallop accents. Naturally, I’m drawn to black as a bold accent color, but a mint green, rich cobalt blue or any other color you’d want to incorporate for a pop of color would work too.

The whole idea of this Art Deco inspired wedding actually came to me because I found out that today is World Architecture Day. Now, I’m no architecture buff or anything, but one of my absolute favorite styles of design is Art Deco. I just couldn’t resist all of the beautiful inspiration!

Here’s what I had in mind for this Art Deco inspired wedding:
