Modern White Orchid Outdoor Wedding Ideas

Are you a fan of modern or classic event décor?

I hope both! This week’s wedding idea board is all about modern. Some of the phrases I would use to describe this event décor would be: Clean shapes. Bright white. Modern elegance.Those are the inspiration words for this week’s wedding inspiration board.

This modern white orchid idea board would be perfect for an outdoor wedding this summer. Orchids generally hold up well in most temperatures, and their clean lines really feed into this modern styling.

The pops of green floral here and there help add a bit of color, while their unusual uses and shapes help add depth and dimension to this event. I opted for several unusual centerpieces, because I like to have several interesting pieces in my design. It helps keep the eye interested and wandering to discover the next stimulating element in the event décor.

Are you a fan of modern Christmas decorations? Or do you prefer the more traditional look?

When I saw this beautiful dining room the other day, I just KNEW this week’s inspiration board would be centered on it. It’s beautiful, modern, elegant and simple. All the characteristics I like in a design. I was envisioning a modern holiday dinner party. Here’s what I had in mind:

Let’s celebrate Wedding Wednesday today with this modern magnolia infused wedding. I am absolutely crazy about this simplistically elegant wedding. The botanical accents scattered lightly throughout are a nice alternative to the traditional floral arrangements and décor.

Not only are the design elements in this week’s wedding idea board beautiful and affordable, but they are also fairly easy for a DIY bride to take on herself, should she choose to accept a challenge like this.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, everything is red, pink and white wherever you look. Stores are covered in red candy boxes, flowers. Pink cards for your valentine are everywhere…you can’t escape it!

Well, you can here!

Today’s inspiration was to create a clean, modern, no frills geometric inspired wedding. Bright pops of color over basic white elements are what make this design  so chic and modern.

Orange, Grey and White Wedding

Light, fresh, and modern. Those were the words that I had going through my mind when I created this inspiration board.

I love the floral accents throughout the wedding design. At one point I thought about substituting silver instead of a matte regular grey, but I really grey is the best choice to go with. The silver just gives it a very heavy feeling, wouldn’t you agree?
