Dinner Party Menu: Baked Scallops and Roasted Potatoes

So guess what? Tomorrow is apparently National Baked Scallops Day. Who knew that was a thing?

I’m from Florida, so I know the deliciousness to be savored when feasting on fresh seafood. I couldn’t resist putting together a scrumptious dinner party menu for this week’s inspiration board. And no party of mine is complete unless there’s wine!

Christmas Cookie Decorating Party

I know TECHNICALLY Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and I should probably do one last “fall” inspired inspiration board. But you know what? I don’t feel like it. I’m ready to dive into Christmas! That and I am not a huge fan of autumn (mostly out of never having experienced it) and today is an abnormally cold day for us here in Florida. And by cold I mean it’s 65 out. That’s cold for us, don’t be jealous!

Now that we are past that, and we have both come to terms that it’s pretty much been all about Christmas in the US since, November 1 (you know it has!), what better way to REALLY dive into the season then by decorating cookies? Cookies + Sprinkles + Eggnog = a good time. Add some friends, some Christmas classics on the radio and you will be having a great time.

This would also be a fun theme for a kid’s birthday party that happens to fall close to the holidays. I know if my birthday was around this time of the year I’d want to do this with all my friends. Though, I also think a snowman building party would be a blast too.

Afterschool Midweek Treat – Candy Corn Themed

Happy October! And a happy Wednesday! It’s really a double treat today- it’s hump day (Friday is so close!) AND it’s the start of Fall, as far as I’m concerned.

The Perfect Valentine’s Day Breakfast
