Sugary Sweet Pastels + Jelly Beans – Baby Shower Ideas

Ahhhhh yes. The smell of sugar.

You know what I’m talking about. At some point in your life you’ve opened up a bag of your favorite sweet treat and inhaled the sugary scent that was released. And you totally loved it. I would go so far as to say you even had a smile on your face after.

A lot of mommy-to-be ladies out there share a similar smile, for obviously more legitimate reasons – I mean they are making a tiny human after all – but they still are happy and smiling and full of positivity.

Those emotions are what sparked the inspiration for this sugary sweet baby shower inspiration board. Here’s what I had in mind:

Pale Pink Rose Baby Shower

I often wonder if I would do well living in a climate other than Florida. We have pretty much one season: summer. Sometimes it’s a little cooler, but only for short bursts of time, and even then we could still lay out and get sun if we wanted to. We never really have that “Spring” revival of color. Everything is green year round and always growing.

For whatever reason I can’t help to think this week’s idea board would do exceedingly well in a setting that was actually still getting out of winter. Somewhere where this pale pink would really pop. You can’t really go wrong with pale pink roses for a baby shower, especially not this time of year.

This week there has been so much rain here in central Florida, everything is starting to grow in lush and full. Flowers are sprouting up in my garden bringing some much needed color to the area.

Confetti Themed Gender Reveal Baby Shower

Welcome back!

Today I’ve got a fun gender reveal party theme to share with you! It’s based around confetti. I’m a huge fan of confetti because it is so versatile. It could be made in any size, shape, color or finish. It can also be used in celebrations year round. It doesn’t take a lot of prep, and isn’t expensive either.

I love the idea of having a confetti themed gender reveal party. The confetti does more than just say celebration at this party; it helps annouce the good news with friends and family!

Summertime Party: Blueberry and Peach Baby Shower

Summertime! It’s what inspired this week’s inspiration board. I was browsing Pinterest, and came by this incredible looking summertime peach and blueberry pie. It looked DEVINE!

Those are normally some of my favorite summer fruits, but it had never really occurred to me to mix the flavors, which got me thinking about the color combination of dark blue and peach….. Before you knew it, I decided that was going to be my theme for this week’s board. (I’ve also included it in the idea board below!)

These would be such fabulous colors to use at a summertime bridal or baby shower. Plus, you can do double duty on buying the produce fresh for eating, but also incorporate it into your décor. Here’s what I had in mind:

Sweet Lamb Baby Shower {Ideas}

Did you know I have another blog? I do! It’s my other blog that was actually my inspiration for starting THIS blog here. My original blog is The Sparkle Queen, and that’s where I started sharing my event and wedding design boards.

And you may be asking yourself, “why is she telling us this?”, and hang with me. I’m telling you because on The Sparkle Queen, I’ve have a series called “Etsy Treasury Tuesday” where I share some of beautiful items I find on Etsy in a curated treasury collection. What Will It Bee? Baby Shower Ideas

Buzz! Buzz!

Are you a gardener at all? I am, on a very small scale, as there is only so much I can fit on my little apartment porch. But one thing I always make keep in my little garden is a few butterfly friendly plants. Right now they are in FULL bloom and absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been spotting butterflies, bees and lots of little critters near those plants. It’s quite an active little pot!

The other day I was out watering and noticed several of those plump, round, bumble bees. They were so busy zooming here and there, I doubt they even noticed me, but they were my inspiration for this week’s event idea and inspiration board.

This baby shower was inspired by the nature loving mommy to be, that is excited about her baby, but may not be ready to reveal the gender just yet. Yellow is great for gender neutral baby showers, is bright and cheery for spring, but is also different from the normal baby blue or pinks that most baby showers lean towards.

If the mommy to be wanted to announce the gender of the baby at the party, she easily could with this theme!

Hello again!

This week’s inspiration board is themed “Cute as a Button”. A sweet, baby shower for the crafty soon-to-be momma!

The mommy-to-be I had in mind for this baby shower is sweet, loves simplicity, and is a craft lover. With plenty of ideas for onesie decorating at baby showers, I thought a cute twist on it would be to have all of the guests bring a small portion of baby fabric (since a little goes a long way with a baby) and give it to the crafty mom-to-be to use in her future baby crafts.
