The Beauty of Baby’s Breath at a Wedding

If the words “simple but elegant” describe your wedding aesthetic, then look no further then baby’s breath. This beautiful floral is just that. It can be incorporated into almost any facet of your wedding, is easy to work with, has a great price point, and more importantly: looks fantastic.

This week I decided to challenge myself to pick one flower type, and base an entire wedding around it. I wanted to choose something that I believe to be underused and underestimated. Baby’s breath fit the challenge!

Peach + Cranberry Wedding Ideas

The other night I was up late on Pinterest, like you do, and I stumbled onto this gorgeous wedding bouquet with peach and cranberry flowers.

I don’t know what it was about it, but I was completely captured by the beautiful colors and the soft elegance it radiated. I knew I just had to create a wedding inspiration board where this bouquet would be at home.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, everything is red, pink and white wherever you look. Stores are covered in red candy boxes, flowers. Pink cards for your valentine are everywhere…you can’t escape it!

Mint Green + Gold Wedding {Inspiration}

When I was getting this week’s inspiration board ready to share with you, I ran into some trouble.

I KNEW I wanted to share an inspiration board with mint green, white, and light gold’s. Naturally, the first thing that came to my mind was a wedding, because I love wedding design. But as I was working on the inspiration board more and more, I knew this week’s post could be for more than just weddings.

I’ve been envisioning spring baby showers, perhaps an afternoon luncheon or even a birthday party with aspects of this week’s inspiration. Maybe even a bridal shower party?

Is your new year going by lightning fast? I cannot believe we are already nearly in February!

Spring is just around the corner, and you know what that means….wedding season!

In honor of spring, or the beginning of what I would consider Florida’s spring, I’m sharing an inspiration board perfect for the modern spring bride.

Icy Winter Wonderland Wedding

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? I am. In fact I HAVE been for more years then I can remember! In my defense though, I do live in Florida, and it’s going to be 83 several days this week. I can dream can’t I?

And every few days, I swear this image pops up in my Pinterest feed:

Now I know that is not NORMALLY what it looks like when it snows, but in my head it does. To tell you the truth, I’ve never seen snow. Certainly never saw it fall from the sky. But I will, someday!

In the meantime, that image was the inspiration for this week’s idea board. I wanted to create a fantasy winter wonderland themed wedding. So without further ado, this is my interpretation of it:

To me, the white and blues together are wonderful. And the blue just makes it feel that much more icy and frosty, don’t you think?
